Last week I completed my imaginary trip the entire 1,917 miles of Route 95. Over the years I’ve travelled it often between Maryland and NY and portions of it throughout New England but was mostly unfamiliar with it in the southern states.
The biggest surprise was identifying only 7 bridges (from my kitchen table, coffee shop or library) that were uncrossable and 2 that were iffy.
I went over one of the uncrossables twice last week. Here’s the George Washington Bridge (NYC) to New Jersey. Yikes!

I hope I’ve identified all the bridges that may be challenging for a gephyrophobiac. My fear is that I didn’t recognize all the uncrossable bridges by tracing the highway on an online map (many, many times) and reading about I-95, the rivers, streams and creeks it crosses and information I could find about its bridges.
So, if you know of a bridge anywhere along Route 95 that you think could be a problem, please let me know. The best way is to post a comment (see the top of this post to comment). It would be a huge help to those of us who fear bridge crossings!
