Somewhere on those highest steel structures of the Tappan Zee Bridge over the Hudson River is a Peregrine Falcon mom and two chicks or more accurately called eyases. I saw their little white heads on the on the falconcam around 8:30 this morning. I don’t know when they were born because everything I read indicates we’re all still waiting. But they seem to be perfectly timed Easter chicks. Maybe there are even more than two!

The falcon nest box where the pair of Peregrines have been coming to for decades to lay their eggs is maintained by The New York State Thruway Authority. When the New NY Bridge is complete the box will be moved there to an equally high perch.
